Hip Pain

A hip pain is the most common complaint that can be caused by a wide variety of problems. The precise location of hip pain can give a proper clue as to what were the reasons that lead to the pain. Problems within the hip joint itself tend to result in pain on the inside of your hip or your groin.

Some of the causes of hip pain originate from the hip itself. These include pressure over the greater torchantar that may cause a bursitis (inflammation of a fluid sac), arthritis in the hip joint and tendinitis due to overused and strained muscles.

Some of the outlining reasons that can lead to hip related injuries are:

  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Slip and fall accidents
  • Construction accidents


If incase you have gone through any of the above accidents or any other kind of injuries then the symptoms that would confirm a pain/discomfort in the hip will be the following:

  • Thigh
  • Inside of the hip joint
  • Groin
  • Outside of the hip joint
  • Buttocks

Sometimes patients of hernia if not being treated properly, their pain can move towards the hip pain. Also, in a hip pain you feel exhausted and it becomes difficult for you to even continue with your daily activity. While constantly suffering from this pain you will feel yourself jammed and there would be a chance that you will develop a limp from persistent hip pain.

Hip pain may be caused by arthritis, injuries or other problems. These include:
